Want to Become Rich-2
Speaker: Dr. Peggy Elliott
Sponsored by Sauerwein Construction

Many are concerned about the today's economy and about what tomorrow will bring financially. We will overcome this stressful time and season in our lives and when we do, we need to then get excited about becoming RICH-2.  Financially wealthy?  No.  We need to learn how to become RICH-2, by R=re-investing in I=integrity, C=compassion, H=honesty and H=humility.  Come and learn some tried and true techniques for becoming a RICH employee in today's workplace.

9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

General Session
9:00-9:45

The Bottom of the Ninth: Where Character Counts
Speaker: Ed Hearn, Former NY Met/Kansas City Royal
Sponsored by: Mechanical & Sheet Metal Contractors Association

In today’s environment, everyone is facing some nasty “pitches” - escalating costs, dwindling margins, crushing competition, unreliable employees, and fickle customers.  It seems more daunting than Royals’ opponents facing of our hometown Cy Young winner, Zach Greinke.

As our great country is being shaken to its core by greed, deceit and self-centeredness, former major leaguer Ed Hearn, believes we could be facing The Bottom of the Ninth – when the “good guys” (the home team) are tied or behind.  In times like these, going with the flow will put you on the bench or worse, end your season.

Ed Hearn has stepped up to the plate countless times with the “game of life” on the line. From the “Penthouse” of a World Series Championship under the bright lights of New York City (Mets) to the “Outhouse” of a premature career ending shoulder injury, three life-saving kidney transplants, dialysis, cancer, the aid of a breathing machine each night, and 40 pills per day, this 49 year old former Major Leaguer will call each of us to swing for the fences with renewed “skill, integrity and responsibility.”

9:45 – 10:15 a.m. Coffee Break / Table Top Exhibits Open

10:15 – 11:45 a.m.
